In my case, they are the best cheesy keto biscuits because I slather them with melted garlic butter right after they are baked.
So, as to why I urge everyone to not skip the butter is because the garlic butter is what brings that resemblance to Red Lobster’s biscuits.

I expected this recipe to be loved and am glad to know that my expectations are indeed true.

This is the case with these cheesy keto biscuits. While I’ve had my fair share of regular biscuits, and frankly have not always loved them, these cheesy keto biscuits change everything.
That said, which I now stand by, these are all the materials and ingredients needed to make a biscuit that can compete with the high-carb biscuits most of us had before low-carb diets took center stage, or at least it feels like I am reminiscing about those days.

Ingredients
Keto Biscuits
1 ¾ cup of almond flour measured and sifted
¼ teaspoon of sea salt
3 tablespoons of coconut flour
½ cup of sour cream
3 eggs, room temperature
2 teaspoons of baking powder
¼ cup of melted unsalted butter
3 tablespoons of freshly grated parmesan cheese
½ cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
Garlic Butter
¼ cup of melted unsalted butter
3 crushed garlic cloves
¼ teaspoon of sea salt
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, measure and then sift together the almond flour, coconut flour, baking powder and salt. Be sure to measure before sifting don’t skip this step!
- Add the sour cream, melted butter, shredded cheddar cheese and eggs to the dry ingredients. Mix everything together with a fork until fully combined.
- Drop large spoonfuls of the dough onto a parchment-lined or lightly greased baking sheet.
- Sprinkle each biscuit with a little parmesan cheese on top.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until the tops are lightly golden brown.
- While the biscuits are baking make the garlic butter: melt the butter and stir in the salt and crushed garlic cloves.
- As soon as the biscuits come out of the oven brush them generously with the garlic butter.
- Garnish with chopped parsley.
- Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 1 month.
